Actor Mrunal Thakur has recently been in the news for a past comment about cricketer Virat Kohli. In an earlier interview, Mrunal mentioned that she once had a huge crush on Kohli and was ‘madly in love’ with him. A social media portal revived this statement in an Instagram post, which led to a strong reaction from Mrunal.
After seeing the post, Mrunal expressed her discontent by commenting “STOP IT OKAY” and tagging the portal. Her original comment was made in 2022 during the promotion of her cricket-themed sports film, *Jersey*, with Shahid Kapoor. In a conversation with ETimes, Mrunal explained that her interest in cricket was inspired by her brother, and at one point, she was ‘madly in love’ with Virat Kohli.
Reddit fans had mixed reactions to the tone of her comment. One user remarked, “Her comment seems to imply the information is true, but she’s a bit embarrassed about it.” Another user commented, “Doesn’t that comment sound sarcastic?
