Who is this 10-year-old child prodigy?
This young spiritual orator from Delhi has gained widespread fame for his knowledge and eloquence in discussing Hindu scriptures, especially the Bhagavad Gita and other ancient texts. He shares his spiritual insights and divine stories through his Instagram, YouTube channel, and Facebook page.
Abhinav’s father, Tarun Raj Arora—an entrepreneur and TEDx speaker—says his son has shown an interest in spirituality since the age of three. Fluent in Hindi, Sanskrit, and English, Abhinav has addressed audiences across India, speaking at prominent spiritual and cultural events. He has also appeared on various TV channels, radio shows, and online platforms.
Fondly called “Bal Sant” by some followers, Abhinav sees himself as an embodiment of Balram and reveres Shree Krishna as his younger brother. In several interviews, he shares that his day begins at 3:30 AM; after waking in the Brahma muhurta, he begins his ‘mala jaap’ (rosary prayers) and pooja at home by 4 AM, followed by Tulsi Puja Parikrama and offerings to the deity Bal Gopal. Outside of his spiritual practices, Abhinav also attends school in Delhi.
Controversies and Threats
Recently, Abhinav and his family have faced multiple controversies and threats. Last week, a video circulated on social media showing him performing devotional songs and dancing with spiritual leader Swami Rambhadracharya at an event. The video captured Swami Rambhadracharya asking Abhinav to leave the stage, stirring debate. Abhinav downplayed the incident, calling it minor and describing his guru’s words as affectionate correction.
Following this, Abhinav’s family claimed he received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Speaking to ANI, his mother, Jyoti Arora, shared that Abhinav’s sole focus has been devotion and that such harassment is unwarranted.
Questions have also arisen around the authenticity of Abhinav’s public image and whether his parents, particularly his father, are shaping his responses. A YouTube channel suggested Abhinav’s replies in media interviews seem rehearsed, pointing to repeated phrases across appearances and moments where he appeared unprepared for unscripted questions. After this video went viral, many viewers criticized Abhinav online, questioning if his answers were genuinely his own.
In response, the family filed a complaint in Mathura court against at least seven YouTubers, accusing them of trolling Abhinav. His father claimed these creators are “anti-Hindu elements” producing content that promotes hatred and disrupts religious harmony. The complaint, according to Bar and Bench, alleges that these YouTubers are mocking Abhinav’s religious beliefs and violating his privacy.
