Adani Stocks: Mixed Performance Amid Market Volatility
Amid heightened market volatility, particularly for Adani Group companies, three stocks from the Gautam Adani-led conglomerate traded in the green on Friday. Notably, these were the group’s acquired entities: ACC Ltd, Ambuja Cements, and New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV).
On the other hand, seven other listed Adani Group companies rebounded from intraday lows but were unable to fully recover early losses.
Top Gainers
- ACC Ltd: Shares rose by 2.25% to ₹2,071.55 during the session, compared to ₹2,025.80 in the previous close. The cement maker’s market capitalization approached ₹40,000 crore.
- Ambuja Cements: The stock surged 3.14% to ₹498.95, up from ₹483.75 in the prior session, with a market valuation nearing ₹1.25 lakh crore.
- NDTV: The broadcaster’s shares gained 2.70%, pushing its total market capitalization above ₹1,100 crore.
Other Adani Group Stocks
Despite early jitters, several Adani companies showed partial recovery:
- Adani Enterprises: Dropped 7% early but pared losses to close down 2.2% at ₹2,134.45.
- Adani Ports: Fell over 5% initially but recovered to ₹1,080.60, down 3.06%.
- Adani Power: Opened with a 6% loss but settled at ₹465.55, down 2.23%.
- Adani Wilmar: Tumbled over 5% at the opening but regained 1% of the early losses.
- Adani Energy Solutions: Fell 9% at the open but reduced losses to 6%.
- Adani Green Energy: Dropped 11% during the day, ending at ₹1,060.95, down 7.5%.
- Adani Total Gas: Slid 6% in early trade and was last seen down 2% at ₹590.60.
While some stocks showed resilience, others remained under pressure amid the broader market volatility.
