The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada has officially released the results for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) today. Candidates who participated in the AP EAPCET exam can now access their results on the official website: http://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in
Candidates need to have their login credentials, including their registration number and AP EAPCET hall ticket number, to access their AP EAMCET scorecard and rank card.
Candidates can also check and download their rank card via the APSCHE myCET mobile app, available on the Google Play Store. This app provides comprehensive CET-related information for the applicants’ convenience.
The ranks for AP EAMCET are determined by a combined score from the entrance exam and the relevant subject performance in the Class 12 board exam, with the written exam score carrying three times the weight of the Class 12 score (3:1 ratio). Last year, candidates from OBC and BC categories needed to score at least 40 out of 160 to qualify for AP EAMCET 2023, while there were no minimum qualifying marks for ST and SC candidates.
In cases where students have identical total scores, the ranking is determined by several tiebreaker criteria. First, the marks secured in the EAMCET entrance exam are compared. If the tie persists, the performance in the Mathematics section of the entrance exam is considered next. If further differentiation is needed, the Physics section marks are evaluated. If the tie remains unresolved, candidates will be assigned the same rank, but during admissions, preference will be given based on the candidate’s date of birth, with the older candidate receiving higher priority.
The AP EAMCET exam, organized by JNTU Anantapur on behalf of APSCHE, serves as a gateway for students aiming to pursue courses such as BSc (Agriculture), BSc (Horticulture), BVSc & AH, BFSc, BTech (Food Science Technology), BSc (Computer Applications & Business Management), BPharma, BTech (Biotechnology or BiPC), Pharm-D (BiPC), and BS (Nursing) (BiPC).
