India vs South Korea, Asian Champions Trophy Highlights: India secured their fourth consecutive win in the tournament, overcoming South Korea 3-1 and virtually confirming their spot in the semi-finals. Despite South Korea providing the toughest challenge India has faced so far, the bronze medalists maintained their dominance. Araijeet Singh Hundal opened the scoring, and captain Harmanpreet Singh doubled the lead with his 200th career goal.
South Korea fought back in the second quarter, controlling possession and pulling a goal back through a penalty corner just before halftime. However, Harmanpreet added a second goal in the third quarter, and India expertly managed the final quarter to close out the match.
India came into the game after a commanding 8-1 victory over Malaysia, having previously beaten Japan 5-1 and China 3-0. South Korea, second in the standings, had a more challenging start with a 5-5 draw against Japan, a 2-2 draw with Pakistan, and a 3-2 win over China in their last match.
