Yograj Singh, father of former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, has once again criticized MS Dhoni. Yograj, who himself represented India in 7 appearances at the highest level, frequently targets the former India captain, accusing him of ruining Yuvraj’s career. In his latest outburst, Yograj declared that Dhoni will never be forgiven, a remark that has quickly gone viral on social media.
“I will never forgive MS Dhoni. He should take a look at himself in the mirror. He may be a great cricketer, but what he has done to my son is unforgivable. Everything is coming to light now, and it can never be forgiven. I have two principles in life: I never forgive anyone who has wronged me, and I never embrace them, whether they are family or my own children,” Yograj said in an interview with Zee Switch’s YouTube channel.
This isn’t the first time Yograj has publicly criticized Dhoni. Earlier this year, the 66-year-old claimed that CSK lost the IPL 2024 due to Dhoni’s bad karma and accused him of being “jealous” of Yuvraj.
“CSK lost the IPL 2024. Why did they lose? It’s simple—you reap what you sow. Yuvraj Singh is now the ICC Ambassador, and hats off to him! But what about this jealous Dhoni? He didn’t even shake hands with Yuvraj, and that’s why CSK failed this year,” Yograj claimed in a viral video.
Meanwhile, Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket in August 2020. However, the 43-year-old continues to play in the IPL. Despite this, Dhoni’s future with CSK remains uncertain, as there is no clarity on whether the legendary wicketkeeper-batsman will participate in the IPL next year.
