Mukesh Ambani visited Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh at the hospital on Monday night, just days after the couple welcomed their baby girl. A video shared on social media shows Ambani’s car arriving at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai, where Deepika is currently admitted. The business tycoon reportedly congratulated the new parents and offered his blessings to the newborn.
Earlier in the day, Ranveer Singh’s sister, Ritika Bhavnani, was also spotted heading to the hospital to meet her niece. The new aunt avoided the media as she made her visit.
Deepika and Ranveer welcomed their baby girl on September 8. They shared the joyous news on Instagram with a post saying, “Welcome baby girl.” The couple received an outpouring of love from Bollywood celebrities. Alia Bhatt expressed her excitement with a series of heart emojis, while Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas also sent their congratulations. Katrina Kaif shared her best wishes, and Sara Ali Khan wrote, “Ranveer and DeePee, congratulations on your baby girl! Wishing you both only joy and bliss.” Kareena Kapoor added, “Congratulations to the new mommy and daddy ❤️❤️ from Saifu and Beboo… God bless the little angel ❤️.”
Deepika, who was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD, is expected to take a short break from work until March 2025. According to an insider, “Her maternity leave will extend until March next year, after which she will immediately start filming the sequel to Kalki alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas.”
On the work front, Ranveer Singh is set to appear in Singham Again and has the highly anticipated Don 3 lined up. The Farhan Akhtar directorial will also feature Kiara Advani in the lead role.
