Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan joined Legends League Cricket (LLC) on Monday following his retirement from international cricket. Announcing his retirement on Saturday, the 38-year-old left-hander is now free to compete in T20 leagues beyond the IPL. “While I am at peace with my decision, cricket remains an integral part of who I am, and it will always be a part of me. I look forward to reconnecting with my cricketing friends and continuing to entertain my fans as we make new memories together,” Dhawan said in a statement.
Dhawan has represented India in 34 Tests, 167 ODIs, and 68 T20s, amassing a total of 12,286 international runs.
